PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To derive which block among predetermined blocks the input of a digital signal belongs to at high speed by successively comparing the inputted digital signals with digital partition signals on respective stages and outputting a digital block signal based on the compared result. SOLUTION: 1st-3rd stages are pipeline-connected in this order, the 1st stage is composed of a register 10, memory 14 and comparator 16, the 2nd stage is composed of registers 20 and 22, memory 24 and comparator 26 and the 3rd stage is composed of registers 30 and 32, memory 34 and comparator 36. Then, the digital input signals to be inputted to this block deriving device are successively compared by the comparator 16, 26 and 36 with the digital partition signals stored in the memories 14, 24 and 34 provided on the respective stages and based on these compared results, the digital block signal of three bits is outputted. |
