<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage in a branch pipe joint for connecting a metallic branch pipe to a pipe wall of a main pipe made of synthetic resin. SOLUTION: A joint is a metallic branch pipe joint for connecting a metallic branch pipe 23 to a pipe wall of a main pipe 21 made of synthetic resin, and it is provided with a saddle 22 to be connected to the pipe wall of the main pipe 21, a cylindrical joint main body 25 projecting on the upper surface of the saddle 22, and a packing 26 formed of an elastic material to be arranged between the saddle 22 and the main pipe 21. A synthetic resin-made reinforcing ring body 33 to be arranged between the saddle 22 and the main pipe 21 inward from the packing 26 is provided, a heating body 34 to be heated by electrification is provided on the contact surface of the main pipe 21 of the reinforcing ring body 33 to the pipe wall, and the reinforcing ring body 33 is welded to the pipe wall of the main pipe 21. The heating body 34 is manufactured by folding up a single heating wire at the intermediate part, winding it on the flat surface from the outside to the inside, and holding the shape into a plate shape, and both ends of the heating wire are drawn out from the center part.</p> |
