PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to take data for error investigation out by the magnetic stripe(MS) access device without using a device for investigation in case of editing error occurrence. SOLUTION: The MS access device 30 stores data read out of MS of a read medium 1 by an MS read/write mechanism part 2 in an MS data storage area 4. An MS data editing part 33 edits the read data into bit data. If an error occurs during this editing, the MS data editing part edits the read data into bit data irrelevantly to the error and stores them in the area 4. An MS data output part 35 passes dummy edited data to a printing mechanism part 5, which prints them on a print medium 6. The details of the editing error can be investigated by analyzing the printed data. |
