摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable input power of a load without using a large high frequency power source even when characteristics of s load like an exciting coil disperse or fluctuate. SOLUTION: The output of a high frequency power source 1 is applied to an exciting coil 3, via an impedance matching circuit 2 constituted of a series capacitor Cs and a parallel capacitor Cp. Then the exciting coil 3 magnetically couples to a no-electrode lamp 4, which is turned. on. The capacitors Cs, Cp which constitute the impedance matching circuit are so constituted that the input impedance of the impedance matching circuit 2, which is viewed from the high frequency power source 1, becomes almost constant, in order that the input power of the lamp 4 may not change when the inductance of the exciting coil 3 changes.
