PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost photovoltaic element capable of enhancing reliability of use for a long period with high performance and mass productivity. SOLUTION: The photovoltaic element comprises at least a metal layer 102, a transparent layer 103, a semiconductor layer 104 and a transparent electrode 108 sequentially laminated on a board 101, wherein the layer 102 contains copper-aluminum alloy which includes 30 to 50at% of aluminum (Al) concentration, and the residue of copper (Cu), and the reflectivity of the layer 102 is 85% or more for a light having a wavelength of 700 to 1000nm. |
