PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device realizing precise recording by correctly detecting a state on the recording face of a recording paper. SOLUTION: When paper is fed by a paper feeding tray (S11), a sensor detects image information in a prescribed range on the recording paper (S12) and counts image information more than a threshold value. When a one-side printing mode is selected and the counted value is over the threshold value thr1 (S13/Yes), image recording with respect to the recording paper is prohibited (S14), the recording paper is ejected outside as it is without forming an image to display the message (S15). When the counted value is not over the threshold (S13/No), a normal image forming process is executed. At the time of a both- face printing mode (S17/Yes), the counted value is also compared with a counter threshold value (S18) to decide the execution possibility of image formation. Thereby image formation is not interrupted though an image of such an small area that gives no trouble to recording already exists on the recording paper. |
