PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent printing quality from being deteriorated and a main body from being damaged by judging that the life of a printing process ends in the case of judging that a driving pulse calculated value is equal to or above a specified value. SOLUTION: The printing process 10 is constituted by arranging a cleaning mechanism 13, an electrifier 14, an exposure system 16, a developing system 18 and a transfer system 20 around a photoreceptor 12. The photoreceptor 12 constitutes a latent image recording medium, the cleaning mechanism 13 constitutes a cleaning means, and the exposure system 16 constitutes a latent image forming means, respectively. The developing system 18 is constituted of a developing roller 22, a supply roller 24 and a toner box 26, and an actuator 30 is arranged at a position opposed to the life display label 28 of the system 18. A RAM connected to the CPU constitutes a driving pulse counting means and a printing history storing means, and a ROM constitutes 1st and 2nd storage means, respectively. In the case of judging that the counted value by the driving pulse counting means is equal to or above the specified value stored in the 1st storage means, it is judged as the end of the life of the printing process. |
