A coated granular curing agent for curing at least one first radical-curable compound selected from the group consisting of radical-curable resins and radical-polymerizable monomers, which is essentially composed of granules of an organic peroxide, the surfaces of which are completely covered with a coating layer made of a cured resin resulting from at least one second radical-curable compound selected from the group consisting of radical-curable resins and radical-polymerizable monomers, wherein the first and second radical-curable compounds may be the same or different from each other. This curing agent not only is excellent in handleability but also can be uniformly dispersed in the above first radical-curable compound to exhibit excellent curing properties. In particular, an anchor bolt fixing composition which contains the curing agent can fix anchor bolts into a base metal with high strength. Further, the curing agent makes it possible to produce a one-pack anchor bolt fixing composition which has a service life of at least one month at ordinary temperatures.
