The coupling includes a closed circular waveguide conductor (1) which is located in a radial plane of a stator (10). The circular conductor forms a first directional coupler (3) with a stationary coupling line (2). A second coupling line (4) which is located at a opposite plane of a rotor (11) forms a second directional coupling (5) with the circular conductor. Preferably, the circular conductor has an electrical length of n* lambda , where n is integer. The coupling lines terminate at a terminating resistor (R) which is embedded in the stator or rotor.
