The gas grill has several separate burner units whose burner pipes are linked by gas-conveying transverse pipe (4) that has a row of flame holes (5) on its top side. The transverse pipe projects at both ends over the parallel burner pipes (1a,1b) into the area of an adjoining transverse pipe. The transverse pipe is mounted at the end of the burner pipes remote from the gas connection. The transverse pipe can project each side by the same amount (a) over the parallel burner pipes. The bores of the flame holes of the transverse pipe are inclined at an angle of 15 degs. to the vertical relative to the burner pipes.
