Toothbrush

The toothbrush (10) has a head of bristles and at least one concave hollow (13) which follows the shape of the teeth and is formed on the work surface on the free ends of the bristles. The bristles (14,15) have varying diameters in different parts of the work surface, and or are made of different material and or have a different surface structure. In the raised edge part of the hollow, the bristles have a larger diameter than the bristles at the base of the hollow which is at least 2 mm and preferably 4 to 7 mm deep. The edge bristles are at least partly spiral, structured, abrasive, flock, corrugated or rough bristles.
