Method for retro-fitting of plumbing services in multi-storey premises

The system employs a plumbline from the topmost storey (XI) to the basement (K) supported on a jib in a space (4) between the bathroom (2) and kitchen (3) of each floor (I to XI) anchored and tensioned at its point of free fall (8). The distances (X1 to Xn) of the walls (5) from the plumbline measured at each level are then reduced to (Y1 to Yn) by refixing the line nearer the wall (5). Sufficient space is however retained for the individual service distribution units fitted at each level to be readily connected vertically in series for observing the respective spacings (Y1 to Yn) when adjusting their mounting bolts (not shown).
