The seat includes an electric heating arrangement for two seat parts, and a device for adjusting a variable heating performance to both seat parts. The heating arrangement provides an AC voltage with alternately positive and negative amplitude. The seat parts are supplied only with either the positive or the negative voltage portion. The ratio of these voltage portions is adjusted according to the desired heating performance. The ratio is preferably controlled in dependence to the temperature or a program. The division of the heating performances is preferably controlled through diodes in an input circle.
