Automatic focusing appliance for telescope, with focusing lens

The focusing lens (12) is movable along an optical axis for adjusting the fine-focusing. The focusing state of the telescope (10) is detected by the detection appliance (20). The focusing lens is moved by a displacement piece (30). A control (23) drives the displacement piece, according to the focusing state detected by the detector, so as to move the focusing lens and thereby adjust the fine-focusing. An operating piece (27) activates the control which automatically focuses.
