摘要 <p>The automotive vehicle (50) has a torque transmitting system (2), a transmission (3) and a propulsion engine (1). At least one actuator (8,9) is provided for gear shift actuation and for control of the torque transmission system. A unit (7) controls the actuator. The control unit is connected to detectors and sensors (12). During an automatic gear shift with previously opened torque transmission system, a critical condition, for instance a condition in which gear tooth fronts of transmission-internal gear shift elements hit each other when powered, is detected by sensor signals. In response, the control unit initiates the actuator such that the gear shift is temporarily and at least partially undone, and continued after. The control unit may cooperate with an engine control unit (30), a slip control unit (31), a traction control unit (32), an antilock system (33).</p>
