The one-edged blade is fixed to the handle and has a hand-shield on the front end of the handle. The shield has a support surface for a stable side position of the blade and has an arched periphery. When the blade is placed on a flat base from any position, it automatically turns into a stable position. The support surface is on the left for right-handed people, as viewed onto the back of the blade, and is on the right for left-handed people. The transition part between the hand and the hand-shield has outward curving pieces for the thumb or index finger or for the edge of the hand facing the thumb.
