Machine for sawing wooden panels

The machine comprises a first sawing unit (8) positioned along a first work-bench (5) for sawing a first pack (7) of panels (2) along a horizontal axis (X). A second stack (7a) of panels conveyed to a second work-bench (12) is defined by a number of third stacks (9) of strips (2a). A hollow cavity (15) is between the first and second work-benches. A conveyor (16) collects the waste cuttings inside the hollow cavity and conveys them to a discharge unit outside. The machine comprises at least one shuttle carriage (17) movable between a non-operating and a loading position in which it is on a higher level than the conveyor, for taking a fourth stack (10) of strips (26).
