Cupola-shaped building with surface formed by double-curved surface members

Several double-curved surface members form a cupola-shaped building or igloo. The members have 4-6 straight side surfaces. The members are formed of a mixture of foamed polystyrene spheres and gypsum, the spheres being embedded in gypsum slurries in a proportion of 80%. They may be formed from a mixture of mineral wool and plastic resin with mineral fillers. Members may be mounted on a support structure with struts of wood or light metal.
