<p>A radar transmits a radio wave whose band is spread by a PN code and receives the radio wave reflected by an object (10) and detects the correlation between the received signal and the delayed PN code to detect the object. A reception unit (18) receives the reflected wave from the object by switching three receiving antennae (16a, 16b, and 16c) whose antenna directions are shifted from each other so that the antenna beam patterns overlap with each other. A correlation detector (19) measures the slide widths while the correlation factor between the received signal and the PN code of each antenna exceeds a threshold and a arithmetic processing unit (12) measures the direction of the object in accordance with the slide widths and the beam pattern characteristics of the antenna.</p> |
