<p>Apparatus for the measurement of liquid quantity inside a liquid separator, especially a water separator (1) in a paper machine, said liquid separator comprising a chamber space provided with at least one liquid/gas inlet duct (2), at least one gas outlet duct (3) and at least one liquid outlet duct (4). Placed in the chamber is a measuring receptacle (6) into which the liquid is passed from the inlet duct (2) and which comprises an inflow compartment (7), which is provided with means for collecting and slowing down the incoming liquid flow, and a measuring compartment (8), with a path allowing liquid flow from the inflow compartment (7) into the measuring compartment. The measuring compartment (8) is provided with means for the measurement of liquid quantity, and the liquid is passed from the measuring compartment (8) via the chamber space of the liquid separator into the outlet duct.</p> |
