Metal seal for action between two flat surfaces

The metal seal lies in between two opposite lying flat sides (34,31), one with a chain housing (29) through which the chain runs. There is also a cylinder block (28) with attached cylinder head. The thin metal plate (5,6,7,55,58,56,57) was at one time a main sealing section (1,51) with a combustion chamber hole (2,52) and with at any one time, a hole for the chain (4,54). The seal element (25,75) for sealing of the stage sections (30) is at the border (36) between the main sealing section and the nearby sealing section, where the thin metal plate is situated. A holding metal plate (15,65) is situated on the sealing element (25,75) along with a gripping section (8,64).
