Roller for paint application

The paint roller has a plastic frame (1) with a grip (2) and a turnable roller at the front end of the frame. The frame has stiffener elements (6,8) extending around part of its length. The elements are connected via longitudinal bracing (5,9) for extra stiffening. The bracing consists of wall sections (5) formed as U-shaped open hollow profiles. The stiffener elements are positioned on the inside of the profiles. The relative distances between the stiffener elements are at 2 mm to 6 mm, to prevent pressure points on the hand of the user.
