The servo adjustment of the headlamp setting uses one electric motor (4) for both headlamps. The servo motor is fitted to one headlamp mounting and drives that headlamp adjustment. A Bowden cable (6) connects the servo motor with the second headlamp (2) for simultaneous adjustment. The servo motor output can be split into two Bowden cable drives for motor mountings away from the headlamps. The adjusting system operates against spring pressure and tilts the headlamps in the vertical plane.
