<p>The invention is a bellows valve (40) which seals the stem (4) of the valve (40). Dirt and other contaminants are trapped by the bellows (5). The valve (40) includes a cover (2) having a sintered metal filter (3) therein. The filter (3) permits gas to flow therethrough but does not permit dirt or other particulate contamination to flow therethrough. Pressure is equalized across the walls of the bellows (5) allowing the valve (40) to operate at high pressure while ensuring that the gas or fluid transported through the valve (40) is kept clean.</p> |
