The system includes a central data collection and processing unit (2) which is located in a central information output unit (8). A teletext generator (3) is connected to the central data collection unit. Teletext receivers and television receivers are located at information receiving units (7). The central data collection unit is allocated to one or more teletext pages (100,200,..) which can be polled at the information receiving units. Preferably, a teletext page includes several screen pages which are displayed automatically one after the other with preset gaps.
