The mounting has a mounting section (1) into which a cylindrical sleeve is insertable. The mounting section has an accommodation (1a) and a separate cover (1b). The sleeve is placed between the cover and the accommodation for clamping. The accommodation has a hollow curved clamp part (2a) to clamp the sleeve. The clamp has two projecting fastening elements (4). The cover also has a hollow curved clamp part (2b) with projecting fastening elements (5) matching those on the accommodation. The sleeve is inserted in the accommodation clamp and the cover is placed over the sleeve. The elements are plastically deformed on joining the cover and accommodation into a closed position and this maintains the sleeve clamped.
