Production of titanium@-aluminium@ part

摘要

Production of a TiAl alloy part comprises (a) forming an oxide-sol solution made of an oxide of W,Nb or Ta, the solution being obtained from a metal compound, containing one of the metal elements, and solvent; (b) applying the oxide-sol solution on a surface of the base material, which is made of an intermetallic TiAl compound (c) vacuum heating the base material in a vacuum atmosphere; and (d) forming a high temperature oxidation resistant film on the surface of the base material.
