<p>A memory (1) stores a sequence program (1a) expressed in a step format. Execution control means (2) executes this sequence program (1a), thereby carrying out operation control on the side of a machine (3). Display control means (4) displays the sequence program (1a) on a display screen of a display device (5), and displays various commands inputted by means of a keyboard (6), in the form of menus. An operator specifies a step by means of the keyboard (6), and also commands to interrupt the execution of the sequence program by means of the keyboard (6).
