The fixing system consists of a lower support (3) with a centering lug (4), cylindrical in shape with a chamfered upper edge. An upper bracket (7) has holes (8) for fixings and a stop (9) on its underside to ensure correct alignment. The fixings are in the form of machine screws fitted into threaded dowels in the upper surface of the caisson. The upper bracket has other holes (23) for fixing screws (22) joining it to the structure of the vehicle.
