Improvements relating to electrically powered liquid heating appliances and controls therefor

The heating element has attachment studs 6 integrally formed on its underside which are designed to be peened over, in the manner of a rivet, to secure a mounting bracket to the element, the control and the appliance connector inlet part being affixed to the bracket. Redundant studs are provided on the heating element to enable a defective control to be replaced without need to discard the heating element. Mounting brackets which provide compliance in the positioning of the appliance connector inlet part are described.
