The printing plate (2) and the container are moved in a mutually reciprocating manner by a drive mechanism in order to ink a printing block of the printing plate. During the inking process, the position of the container relative to the longitudinal axis of the printing block and hence to the printed image is varied by a further relative movement. This further relative movement is, for example, an oscillating, rolling, swaying, swinging or thrusting movement. |
