A convection microwave oven is provided with an exhaust duct 90 for guiding in an upward direction hot air coming from a cooking chamber to prevent damage to an electric motor. The exhaust duct 90 is joined to a rear plate 12 to surround a plurality of exhaust holes 12f through which air coming out of the cooking chamber is exhausted. The exhaust duct 90 has opened top and front portions 91 and 93, and a plurality of coupling hooks 92 projected from both sides of the front portion 93. A plurality of slits 12g corresponding to the hooks 92 are formed on both sides of the exhaust holes 12f. The hooks 92 are inserted into the slits 12g so that the exhaust duct 90 is joined to the rear plate 12. therefore, the exhaust duct 90 prevents the hot air from re-entering through air vents 81 of a protective cover 80 which s adjacent to the exhaust holes 12f which contains an electric motor 73. <IMAGE> |
