PURPOSE:To provide a transmission line delay measurement device in which a delay of a transmission line is measured with less power consumption even in the communication system having a high transmission line frequency. CONSTITUTION:A time from the transmission of a delay measurement command to the reception thereof is measured by 2nd counters 25, 26. The operating clocks given respectively to the counters are clock signals generated by a 1/2 frequency divider circuit 28 and an inversion circuit 29, the frequency is a half of the transmission line frequency and the phases of them are deviated by 180 deg.C. Thus, the transmission line delay is obtained by summing the counts of the counters 25, 26 by an adder circuit 30. |
