PURPOSE:To unnecessitate the consideration to the temp. characteristic of an optical coupling device and save handling time at the time of the incorporation of the optical coupling device concerning the incorporation with an electric equipment such as a solid-state relay, etc. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 1 and a light receiving element 2 are provided inside a package 3 so as to be mutually facing. A driving circuit 4 driving the light emitting element 1 is provided. A temp. detecting means 5 detecting temp. inside the package 3 is provided. A control means 6 controlling the current of the driving circuit 4 based on a signal from the temp. detecting means 5 is provided. The control means 6 is set to compensate the temp. characteristic consisting of the optical output of the light emitting element 1 and the light-receiving sensitivity of the light receiving element 2. Since the temp. characteristic consisting of the optical output of the light emitting element 1 and the light-receiving sensitivity of the light receiving element 2 is compensated, the optical coupling device is stably operated even if the used temp. executes any change within the specified range of operation temp. |
