Agent to combat parasitic insects and mites on humans comprises (a) 0.0001-20 wt.% of an agonist or antagonist of nicotinergic acetylcholine receptors in insects; (b) 2.5-99.9 wt.% of a cyclic carbonate solvent; (c) 0.025-30 wt.% of additives such as thickeners, spreading substances, colouring, antioxidants, propellants, preservatives, retaining materials or emulsifiers.
