Pulse modulated magnetic control valve for a hydrodynamic torque converter of an automatic transmission

The magnetic valve has an electromagnetic switching element (11) and a valve body (12), with a pressure control chamber (15) at one end of the latter and a counter-pressure chamber (18) at its opposite end. A throttle element (44) lies in the supply line to the counter-pressure chamber, used for blocking higher acceleration of the control piston (28) in the opposite direction of the electromagnetic switch element. Pref. the counter pressure in the counter-pressure chamber is variable and lies between 0.1 and 5 bar, the throttle element by at least one throttle valve.
