PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a PLZT doped with a dopant and having high utility at a low cost. SOLUTION: This production process comprises the thermal sintering of a mixture of raw materials of Pb, La, Zr, Ti and a dopant in an inert gas atmosphere. The ratios of Pb, La, Zr, Ti and dopant in the raw material mixture before thermal sintering are adjusted to be equal to the stoichiometrical ratios in the theoretical chemical formula of the objective substance to be produced. |
