PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a small-sized compact flexibly engaging gear device, reduce the number of component items and also reduce the number of assembling manhours. SOLUTION: A flexibly engaging gear device 1 is constructed such that an input shaft 4 is supported on its both ends in a rotatable manner between a first end plate 2 and a second end plate 3, a flexibly engaging gear mechanism is assembled to it and then a cross roller bearing 8 is arranged on the outer circumferential side of it. An annular hub 64 of a flexible external gear is held between an outer ring 81 of a bearing 8 and the second end plate 3 and these three members are fastened together by a first fixing bolt 11 on the side of the inner ring 82. An entire device can be made flat and the outer ring of the bearing can be utilized as a device housing. In addition, the fixing bolts 9 and 11 are applied for temporary fixing and fastening of each of the members. Accordingly, the device can be made compact and small in size, the number of component items can be reduced and the number of assembling manhours can be reduced. |
