摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a graft copolymer resin compsn. which possesses impact resistance, chemical resistance, can provide a molding having good appearance, and has excellent moldability by conducting emulsion graft polymn. of a mixture of two or more specified vinyl monomers onto a rubber polymer having a specified particle diameter. SOLUTION: A mixture composed of 40 to 90wt.% (hereinafter referred to as '%') arom. vinyl monomer, 10 to 60% vinyl cyanide monomer, and 0 to 20% other vinyl monomer is subjected to emulsion graft polynm. in the presence of a diene rubber polymer latex to prepare the graft copolymer resin compsn. wherein, in the rubber polymer in this latex, (1) the gel content is not less than 50%, (2) the wt. average particle diameter (D) is 0.01 to 0.65μm, (3) the wt. fraction of the rubber in the graft copolymer resin compsn. is 0.1 to 0.8, and, in this graft copolymer resin compsn., (4) the degree of grafting defined by formula I (wherein x represents the wt. of a resin compsn. sample and y represents the wt. of an insoluble in x in extraction with acetone at room temp.) is 10<=Gr<=150, (5) the no. average mol.wt. (Mn) of a soluble in extraction with acetone at room temp. is not less than 30,000, and (6) D, Gr, and Mn satisfies a requirement represented by formula II.
