PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp exactly residual amount of expendables. SOLUTION: Though a facsimile terminal equipment records an image on an image recording area 23a of recording paper 23, a main control part calculates a residual amount of ink of an ink cartridge by subtracting a count number of a printed dot of a dot counter from a recordable dot number at that time, and records an indicator 24 at a position corresponding to the ink residual amount of an indicator area 23b. Further, the main control part makes a printed density detecting sensor 21 detect recorded density of the indicator 24 recorded on the indicator area 23b of the recording paper 23. When a recorded density of the indicator 24 is not more than a specific recording density, anything unusual of clogging or the like of a nozzle of a printing head is judged to be generated, and the main control part informs an operator of the purport by display on an operation display part, or driving a buzzer or an LED. Further, the main control part calculates the residual amount of recording paper 23 from a detected result of a recording paper sensor 22, determines a recording position of the indicator, and records the indicator at the determined recording position. |
