PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare water-disaggregating cloth quickly disaggregative in water at normal temperature and suitable for disposable cleaning cloth, etc., by blending a cellulosic fibers aggregate with water-disaggregating fiber aggregate and making nonwoven cloth. SOLUTION: A water-disaggregating fibers aggregate having 3-51mm fiber length is formed by copolymerizing vinyl acetate with at least one kind of an unsaturated monomer not containing a functional group selected from the group of ethylene, propylene, isobutylene and styrene, partially hydrolyzing to obtain a copolymer having 78-98% saponification degree, then subjecting a water-disaggregating resin composition comprising 30-70wt.% of the resultant copolymer and remainder of heat-denaturating starch to melt spinning. The objective water-disaggregating cloth is obtained by blending 30-90wt.% of a cellulosic fibers aggregate with 10-70wt.% of the water-disaggregating fiber aggregate in an air-laid method and making nonwoven cloth. |
