PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform control without worsening of a gear shift shock by a method wherein control is effected such that, when an oil temperature is below a set value and during a time between the starting of a torque phase and the starting of an inertia phase, the drive period of an actuator for control on the release side is increased compared with a drive period in which drive is effected during control of gear shift. SOLUTION: An oil temperature and a set oil temperature are detected and comparison therebetween is effected. After based on a comparing result, the drive frequency of a hydraulic actuator 15 on the release side is decided and the drive frequency is set, the starting of a torque phase is decided. A gear ratio is calculated from the number of revolutions of an input shaft and the number of revolutions of an output shaft, and a reference gear ratio and a real gear ratio are compared with each other. When it is discriminated that a ratio therebetween is high, progress to control of an inertia phase is effected. This constitution ensures gear shift quality even during a low temperature. |
