PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly conductive polyurethane resin coating material having improved electrostatic characteristics without using a conductive ingredient by using a polyurethane resin having specified glass transition point and vol. resistivity. SOLUTION: A polyurethane resin having a glass transition temperature of 30 deg.C or lower and a vol. resistivity of 10<6> -10<10>Ωcm is used. The resin is produced from an aliph. long-chain polyol, an org. polyisocyanate, and if necessary a chain extender (e.g. ethylene glycol) at an isocyanate index of 0.6-1.15. Examples of the polyol are polyester-based, polylactone-based, polycarbonate- based, and polyether-based polyols and their copolyols. The polyol used may be a single polyol or a mixture of two or more polyols and pref. has a mol.wt. of 30-10,000 and a heat of fusion of 200kJ/mol or less. An example of the polyisocyanate is TDI.
