PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject material, free from the danger of explosion, etc., having high storage stability and capable of polymerizing with sole application of heat by compounding a specific biimidazole compound with a hydrogen- donating compound. SOLUTION: A composition containing (A) a polymerizable unsaturated compound, (B) a hexaarylbiimidazole compound expressed by the formula [L1 to L3 are each a (substituted) aryl], (C) a hydrogen-donating compound and (D) a reinforcing fiber material. The composition is cured by heating. Further, the component D is preferably a carbon fiber, and the component C is preferably a 1,3-dicarbonyl compound, especially a 1,3-diketone compound, or a mercapto compound having a heterocycle, especially one kind selected from mercaptobenzothiazole, mercaptobenzimidazole and mercaptobenzoxazol. |
