<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shopping cart in which an infant can be correctly seated on an infant seat, and in which a safety device can be securely set for providing its use in safety. SOLUTION: A shopping cart is composed of a frame 1 having four casters at a lower part, and a handle 11 at an upper part, a shopping basket support rack installed on the frame 1, an infant seat 22 installed on the frame 1, a lock mechanism 27 installed on at least one wheel of the four casters installed on the frame 1 which is normally set in an unlock condition, and which forms a lock condition when an infant is seated on the infant seat 22, and a lock release mechanism to release the lock condition of the lock mechanism 27 by setting a safety device as the infant is seated on the infant seat 22.</p> |
