PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject decoration capable of emitting light at a strong brightness for a long period of time, high in safety and useful for an aquarium, etc., by using a strontium aluminate-based long time light emitting light accumulating pigment not containing a radioactive element. SOLUTION: This long time light accumulating decoration is obtained by dispersing (A) a strontium aluminate-based long time light emitting light accumulating pigment in (B) a thermoplastic resin (including a rubber) (e.g. a polyethylene terephthalate) or a thermosetting resin (e.g. an epoxy resin), or (C) a low temperature melting glass such as a nonoxidized glass or a solder glass under a condition of <=1300οC processing temperature and then forming. Further, it is preferable that as a binding material for forming of a decoration for a use of contacting with water, a material hardly permeating moisture but excellent in gas barrier is used and that the decoration is covered with a gas barrier type material capable of transmitting ultraviolet light, or decorated by putting the same into a vessel not contacting with water such as a bottle.
