PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a titanium thin sheet for building material having little deformation at the time of bending with a roll forming by forming spherical surface recessed parts having a specific radius and a specific depth on both surfaces of the titanium thin sheet. SOLUTION: On both surfaces of the titanium thin sheet, the spherical surface recessed parts are formed. This surface recessed parts can be formed by applying a shot-blasting treatment using fine small balls or a method for transferring the surface pattern applied on a cold-rolling roll to the material with the cold- rolling. Then, at the time of using (t) for thickness of the titanium thin sheet and (r) for radius corresponding to the sphere, the depth of the surface recessed part is formed to >=dC defined with the equation 0.817+25.5r<(-1)> dC +29.8γ<(-2)> -×dC<2> =0.2t<3> -1.8t<2> +14.1t. By this method, shrinkage deformation along the roll forming direction at the flange bending part causing to the development to a pocket wave, is released and the development of deformation with the bending at the time of roll-forming, is reduced.
