发明名称 METHOD OF JOINING JOINT AND COUPLING OF WOOD MATERIAL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join easily joint parts or coupling parts of a wood material made of a mixture of a cellulosic fine powder and a thermoplastic synthetic resin to bring about a strength equivalent to that of the wood material by bringing the joint parts or the coupling parts in contact with a platelike (rodlike) body heated to a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the wood material to melt them, and pressing and welding them together. SOLUTION: The wood material is made up of 40 to 60wt.% celluosic fine powder (e.g. a fine powder of paper, regenerated paper, wood or the like, the size being 80 meshes or less) and 40 to 60wt.% thermoplastic resin (e.g. a vinyl chloride resin). Joining is carried out in such a manner that joints or couplings (e.g. butt joint and scarf joints) having a surface normal or slanted to the length of the wood material are welded. The joining is shown in the figure. A vertical member 51 and a horizontal member 52 are mount to jigs 53 for fixing members. A platelke body 56 for melting members is heated to 270 deg.C and is inserted between parts 55 to be joined so that the parts 55 may be melted. After withdrawing the platelike body 56 from the parts 55, the melted parts 55 are pressed and welded.
