PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To polish, without generating surface irregularity, an elastic member which is used as a top surface member for an artificial marble sink and is constituted of synthetic resin which may have plastic deformation with a cylindrical polishing roller or the like with its deformation corrected and an influence of a level difference in a conveying surface absorbed. SOLUTION: A work 1 is loaded onto a conveying base 14 in a conveying device 11 on the upstream of a conveying direction X, the conveying base 14 is moved by driving a conveying chain 15, the work 1 is fed to the bottom of a polishing puff 10 sequentially from the front end side to polish its surface. The work 1 is pushed upward by a spring body 17 to be pressed against the polishing puff 10 and pushed in the opposite direction of a pressure-energizing direction by a pair of pressing rollers 18, 18 which are positioned at both sides of the polishing puff 10, so as to be ground with a deforming behavior corrected. |
