PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PET laminated metal board, having good adhesiveness, processability and surface finishing properties and excellent in retort resistance at processing sites under severe conditions. SOLUTION: This thermosetting-type adhesive is characteristically composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. of a carboxyl group-containing phenoxy resin, consisting of an esterified substance of a phenoxy resin and a polybasic carboxylic acid anhydride, and having an acid value of 1-100 and a weight-average molecular weight of 30,000 to 150,000, (B) 5-50 pts.wt. of a polycaprolactone polymer having a number average molecular weight of 5000-70,000, (C) 2-50 pts.wt. of an o-cresol novolac-type epoxy resin and (D) 0.5-20 pts.wt. of a crosslinking agent of at least one kind selected from amino resins and blocked polyisocyanate compounds. A PET-laminated metal board is obtained by binding a PET film and a metal board together using the adhesive. |
